miranda…..my very last session in Wichita..

wow.. it’s been soooo long since I’ve posted!  life has been fun lately.. and full of changes!

i’ve been friends with Miranda’s dad for 4ish years..  we hit it off when i tended to be a bit honest in board meetings for our kid’s soccer organization.  if you know me, I’m just me – all the time.. sometimes it’s ok.. sometimes it’s not.. but Miranda’s dad and I got along great.. then I met Jenn, her mom.. and again.. got along great.. Miranda was always around the fields and I have always loved the way she carried herself.  Stong, confident, but with a maturity and respect beyond her years (and a wicked sense of humor).  When my daughter made the soccer team that Miranda’s younger sister played on (and her dad helped coach) – I got to know these guys even more – traveling to soccer tournaments together and sitting on the sidelines together – well, you find out a LOT about each other…

when they asked me to take Senior pics of Miranda – I was thrilled.. I have LOVED watching Miranda grow up.  Her interests are so dang cool.  We had quite a few outfit/venue changes.. but for this crew – heck yeah!!!

we did this session in mid-october.. then my family moved to florida.. thanks for the patience!!!

getting this child to be serious..

i…. deserve… a… medal…

oh.. yeah.. her hair.. is always so cool.. occasionally it is one color.. when they showed me her colors for this session – i was soooo excited to see it in person.. it turned out great.. we did this sessio IMMEDIATELY after!

more seriousness..  she looks gorgeous

and probably a bit older than her father would like..

sorry, man.. just wait.. the next ones…. she is stunning..

told ya…

love her confidence in this.. with her hair..

and in black and white.. (this is soooo good in color too..)

then out to the fields.. that she literally grew up on..

then… the girl does some super cool painting.. and loves color…

and to make messes..

and I LOVE the way these turned out!!!

love.. love

thank you soooooooo much for trusting me.. i hope you love them as much as I do!!!  TONS more to come (when Millies starts school in two weeks!!!)
