man.. i’m behind.. i’ve popped in a Scooby Doo movie to keep the kids occupied and ensure no messes are made while i fly through this blog post and download a few pics from a birthday party we attended this weekend..
company coming in a few hours, a crazy messy house to be tackled.. abby’s birthday was this weekend and i had what i’m guessing is known as a migraine this weekend.. never in my life have i experienced such a horribly painful thing.. it took me out of commission all of yesterday and I’m being very careful today. so.. let’s see.. that’s 4 excuses for being late..
having children around really brings back some great things i forgot about my childhood.. i always loved to read.. and this book was my favorite.. this particular page my favorite-est.. my brother got this book for abby for her 1st Christmas.. now she can read it.. she too, loves this one..
*bonus points for anyone who guesses the book and title of this particular one.. *
some great images to share..
this from Mary G… her Summer life revolves around baseball.. i really.. really like this.. i love the color of the light.. the lines in the back.. everything.. nice..
and from Kelly M. books that she intends to read… nice..
i have not heard of any of these.. i’m such a poor reader – who has time.. Between Bachelorette and catching up with my new true LOVE – Downton Abbey – I’ve simply no time!!!
and from Chris S… I want to steal that book from her.. i love botany.. and who doesn’t love old books? nicely done!
well it seems the Scooby Doo episode is over.. i’m going to go tuck them in for a nap and take something for my headache (let’s hope it doesn’t worsen)
and for next week..
The book in the picture above inspired me a bit..
so..
